PREP BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS
North Hollywood 60, Locke 56--Robert Hill broke a 56-56 tie with four free throws in the final minute to lead the Huskies (13-11) in the City 3-A game at North Hollywood. Hill finished with 19 points and seven assists.
Locke finished the season 18-9.
North Hollywood was scheduled to play South Gate, but the Rams were forced to withdraw from the playoffs. They forfeited victories because they used an ineligible player.
Grant 85, Jefferson 70--Brunell Mori scored 16 points and had 13 rebounds and Sean McMahon added 15 points and 15 rebounds for the top-seeded Lancers (19-2) at Grant. Jefferson finished 6-14.
Reseda 68, Eagle Rock 56--The Regents overcame a two-point halftime deficit, outscoring the visiting Eagles, 26-14, in the third quarter.
Marquis Burns had 29 points and James Chen added 19 points and seven assists for Reseda (13-8). Eagle Rock finished 14-11.
