Chula Vista
The body of an unidentified woman was found Sunday in San Diego Bay off Chula Vista, authorities said.
The victim, believed to be 55 to 60 years old, is white, brown-haired, 5-foot-6, and heavyset. She was wearing a brown skirt, black walking shoes and jewelry, according to the county medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
A boater discovered the body near Gunpowder Point at 6:39 p.m. Sunday, authorities said. Chula Vista police are investigating.
