Freeze Hurt Small Business Owners: Small business owners in 51 counties, who have suffered economic losses because of the devastating Christmas freeze, may be eligible for Small Business Administration loans of up to $500,000. For those eligible, the loans would cover revenues lost because of the freeze; they would not cover physical damage such as burst pipes. Farmers are excluded from applying.
