Sarah Steals the Show: While Andrew Lloyd Webber and his new wife, Madeleine Gurdon, were being toasted at the Music Center’s invitation-only tribute Monday at the Beverly Wilshire, ex-wife Sarah Brightman stole the show with a virtuosic performance of songs from Lloyd Webber’s “Requiem” and “Phantom of the Opera.” Her original “Phantom” partner, Michael Crawford, was there but did not sing. Brightman sang with another Michael--Michael Ball--raising the question: Could Ball, an original star of Lloyd Webber’s “Aspects of Love,” succeed Crawford at the Ahmanson in April?
