The Alternative Repertory Theatre has received a $5,000 community development grant from the city of Santa Ana to help offset costs of its three productions this season. The money also will help cover costs of providing Santa Ana high school students with free performances of Thornton Wilder’s “The Skin of Our Teeth,” which begin in April. ART recently gave free performances of its current production, “The Lion in Winter,” to students from several Orange County high schools.
