FILLMORE : Council to Consider Hiking Builder Fees
- Share via
Some developer fees may be increased 34% to fund improvements for Fillmore area roads under a proposal considered by the City Council on Tuesday.
The council will hold a public hearing on the rate increases next month. Fillmore last revised its development fees in July, 1989. City Manager Roy Payne said a November traffic study has made it easier to identify the impact of development on city streets.
Improvements needed because of commercial and residential growth include a new traffic signal on California 126 at B Street and another at A Street and Old Telegraph Road, he said. Officials estimate the cost at $157,000 per signal.
