Washington’s James to Speak at Clinic
Don James, who coached Washington to a 1991 Rose Bowl victory, will head the list of speakers scheduled for the Orange County football coaches clinic at 8 a.m. today at Rams Park.
James is the dean of Pacific 10 coaches, recording a 132-54-2 record in 16 seasons. Washington has made bowl appearances in 12 of the past 14 years under James.
Other speakers include Arizona State assistant Tom Freeman, Cerritos College Coach Frank Mazzotta and Mission Viejo High School Coach Mike Rush.
The clinic is free to all high school and junior high coaches in the county. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
