Desert Stormers to Disneyland: Theme park officials unveiled plans to distribute two free admission tickets to all U.S. military personnel who participated in Operation Desert Storm. The tickets, to be distributed through military bases, would be good for visits to Disneyland or Walt Disney World in Florida from April 1 to Veterans Day, Nov. 11. In making its announcement, Walt Disney Co. joins a rush of companies that are showering returning troops with freebies or discounts. Several major airlines, for instance, have said they will give service personnel discounts of up to 70% so they can visit their families.
