Missing the Mets Won’t Ease Pressure
So Tommy Lasorda has decided not to let Darryl Strawberry face those mean old Mets and their fans during the exhibition season.
Come on, Darryl, grow up. You’re a talented ballplayer. However, you are also making $4 million a year. If you think there won’t be any worldly pressure on you or that the L.A. sports media is made up of a bunch of la-la nice guys, maybe I can interest you, sight unseen, in some oceanfront property in Phoenix.
