West Hollywood : Pool Closes for Work
West Hollywood has closed its public pool until May 15 to make improvements on the facility. Work crews will be retiling the pool as well as restoring bathroom and shower facilities. Lifeguard stands and a diving board also will be replaced, among other improvements.
This is the first time the pool has been renovated since its opening in the early 1960s. In anticipation of the pool’s reopening, the city is now accepting applications for summer lifeguards. Candidates need to be licensed in first aid and CPR. Qualified individuals should call the city’s recreation services division.
