Exploring the Jim Morrison Era

Mr. Goldstein neglects to mention that many of the progressive movements we now take for granted have their roots and/or a significant boost in the ‘60s, i.e., minority and women’s rights, environmental concerns, holistic and alternative health choices, an awareness of spiritual and religious paths other than Judeo-Christian, to name but a few.
One of the main insights from the ‘60s is that there can be more to life than the narrow confines of one’s society and we have the option, indeed, obligation, to explore outside our walls. This is something that Mr. Goldstein seems to have forgotten in his race back to the mainstream.
