FREEWAY REPAIRS

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Westbound No. 5 lane at Bixby Avenue undercrossing; 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; bridge repair.

2. Long Beach: Eastbound No. 5 and 6 lanes from the Long Beach Freeway (710) and Artesia Freeway (91) connector to Cherry Avenue, plus the Atlantic Avenue on-ramp and Cherry Avenue off-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

3. Bell: Southbound off-ramp at Florence Avenue from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday; eastbound on-ramp at Florence Avenue from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday; westbound Florence Avenue on-ramp from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday; stenciling.

4. Commerce: Northbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Slauson Avenue to Washington Boulevard, plus off-ramps and on-ramps at Bandini and Washington boulevards; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday; marker repair.

5. East Los Angeles: Southbound connector road from the Long Beach Freeway (710) to the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); 6 a.m. to noon today; drain cleaning.

6. Long Beach: Southbound No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 lanes from Compton Boulevard to the Artesia Freeway (91) junction, the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to the eastbound and westbound Artesia Freeway (91), plus the Alondra Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon Monday; marker repair.

7. Long Beach: Northbound No. 1 lane from Anaheim Street to the San Diego Freeway (405) junction; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday; marker repair.

8. Long Beach: Northbound No. 1 lane from the San Diego Freeway (405) separation to Artesia Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday; marker repair.

9. South Gate: Northbound No. 4 lane from Firestone Boulevard to Slauson Avenue, plus off-ramps and on-ramps at Firestone Boulevard and Florence Avenue; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; marker repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

10. East Los Angeles: Eastbound alternating lanes of the Downey Road off-ramp; 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; stenciling.

11. East Los Angeles: Eastbound alternating lanes of the Whittier Boulevard off-ramp; 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday; stenciling.

12. Industry: Eastbound alternating lanes of the Crossroads Parkway off-ramp; 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday; stenciling.

13. Montebello: Westbound No. 5 lane from Greenwood Avenue to the Wilcox Avenue undercrossing, plus the Markland Drive off-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; guardrail repair.

14. Monterey Park: Eastbound alternating lanes of the Atlantic Boulevard off-ramp; 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday; stenciling.

15. Various Cities: Eastbound and westbound No. 1 lanes from Indiana Street to Azusa Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; sweeping.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

16. Cerritos: Southbound No. 4 lane from Alondra Boulevard to Artesia Freeway (91), plus Alondra Boulevard on-ramp, and southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) connectors to the eastbound and westbound Artesia Freeway (91); 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; surveys.

17. Cerritos: Northbound No. 1 lane from the Artesia Freeway (91) to Alondra Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; crack seal repair.

18. Norwalk: Northbound No. 1 lane from Alondra Boulevard to Imperial Highway; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; crack seal repair.

19. Norwalk: Northbound No. 1 lane from Imperial Highway to Firestone Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; crack seal repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

20. East Los Angeles: Northbound No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes from Downey Road to the East Los Angeles interchange, plus the Downey Road on-ramp, Ditman Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp, Indiana Street off-ramp and on-ramp, Calzona Street off-ramp and on-ramp and Grande Vista Avenue off-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; sign repair.

21. East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 1 lane from the Long Beach Freeway (710) to Simmons railroad undercrossing; 6 a.m. to noon today; drain cleaning.
