Sellers Can Find Helpful Ideas at Two Times Fairs
Selling a home in the buyer’s market can be a challenge, but expert advice can make it easier.
In special workshops at both Los Angeles Times Home Buyers and Sellers Fairs, real estate experts, including Times’ columnist Robert Bruss; Dian Hymer, author of “Buying and Selling a Home in California,” and top Southland realtors will advise sellers on pricing their homes, preparing their homes for sale and handling the sale process.
The fairs will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County and Saturday, May 4, at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles.
A question-and-answer discussion on home buying and mortgages and a workshop on investing in real estate also will be open to fair-goers. About 50 exhibitors--home builders, realtors, lenders, the Internal Revenue Service, consumer agencies--will also handle consumer questions.
