OXNARD : Man, 20, Stabbed in Eastwood Park Fight
A 20-year-old Oxnard man was in stable condition Sunday after being stabbed in the chest during a fight in north Oxnard over the weekend, police said.
Adan Sandoval was in stable condition and scheduled to be released from St. John’s Regional Medical Center Sunday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Oxnard Police Sgt. Jeff Young said Sandoval was fighting with a man in Eastwood Memorial Park at 4:15 p.m. Saturday when he was stabbed.
Sandoval was taken to the hospital by an unknown person, Young said.
The attack does not appear to be gang-related, Young said.
Police have made no arrests, and were continuing their investigation Sunday.
