Regarding Dottie Alba’s letter “Airport Was There Before Homes”: She should be promoting her Palmdale Airport that remains empty and not Burbank’s.
I live in Sherman Oaks, not right up to the fence at Burbank Airport. In August of 1989, Burbank changed its flight pattern to fly so low over Sherman Oaks that I can see the planes out of my back window. You should hear the noise!
