Lions Tourney Dates Reviewed

With rain threatening today’s round robin play in the 41st Annual Lions/Mike Morrow Baseball Tournament, tournament manager Wayne DeBate said Sunday that games will be played according to their original schedule.

Any of today’s games rained out will be played on Thursday and the championship game, originally scheduled for Thursday, will be played on Saturday. There will be no games on Good Friday.

“If we get two days of rain, the finals will be later in the season,” DeBate said. “We’ll play the first three days and play as many as we can, but if we have to go past this week, we’re in trouble because of league games and other tournaments.”
