COSTA MESA : Grants Available for Local Cable Projects
The city’s cable television committee is accepting grant applications for local cable-programming projects that will benefit the residents of Costa Mesa.
The goal of the committee is to encourage both the development of local programming and the innovative use of the Costa Mesa public-access television system.
Individuals who live or work within city limits are eligible to apply for the grants. Organizations applying must be nonprofit corporations or unincorporated associations and must serve a geographic area that includes Costa Mesa.
Limited funds are available on a competitive basis to organizations or individuals meeting these criteria. Committee recommendations on grant allocations are subject to final approval by the City Council.
For an application, contact the cable television office at (714) 754-5098. Applications will be accepted until 4 p.m. on May 3 at the city clerk’s office, 77 Fair Drive.
