Westchester : LAX Planning Meeting Set

Issues related to the future of Los Angeles International Airport will be discussed at a meeting tonight of the Westchester/Playa del Rey Planning Advisory Committee.
Public comments received at the meeting will be forwarded to the Los Angeles Planning Department for consideration in determining the scope of a new study on the environmental impact of increased passenger traffic at LAX.
The committee is an advisory group to City Councilwoman Ruth Galanter, whose district includes the airport. The 7 p.m. meeting will be held at 7166 W. Manchester Ave. in Westchester.
