Trains Collide; 2 Injured

CHASE, Md. —
A string of four Amtrak locomotives struck the side of a Conrail freight train Friday, seriously injuring two crew members. The crash occurred near the site of a wreck that killed 16 people in 1987. Police said the accident may have been related to a faulty signal light.
