Ex-Boyfriend Identified as Gunman at Magazine
A man who burst into the offices of an Agoura Hills magazine and shot two lithographers--one fatally--before killing himself may have been enraged because his ex-girlfriend was dating one of the men, sheriff’s deputies said Friday.
Ignatius N. Teresi, 26, of Westlake Village was identified as the man who entered the offices of Paisano Publications Thursday afternoon and fatally shot John Sacha, 24, of Granada Hills, before turning the gun on himself. Alejandro Lopez, 43, was also injured. He was in critical condition in Westlake Village Community Hospital.
Paisano Publications publishes the 400,000-circulation Easyriders magazine, Tattoo magazine and several other biker magazines. In a statement, the company said Teresi was a “former employee,” expressed regret for the killings and asserted that they were “in no way related to the company or its publications.”
