McDonald’s Corp.: The restaurant chain reported first-quarter earnings of $168.5 million, up 7% from last year’s $158.1 million. Revenue for the Oak Brook, Ill.-based fast-food giant rose to a record $4.53 billion from $4.28 billion a year ago.
