Beverly Hills : Rodeo Drive Block Party
The Concern Foundation will hold its 17th annual block party on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills May 19 to raise money for cancer research.
In keeping with this year’s “Wizard of Oz” theme, the nonprofit agency will kick off a series of events on May 4 with a “Dorothy look-alike contest” at noon at the Century City Shopping Center. Women, ages 16 to 25, will be eligible to compete for a prize that includes a trip for four to New York City.
The Rodeo Drive block party will start at 3 p.m. The annual event will feature food booths, prize raffles, auctions and other festivities. Tax-deductible tickets for the event are $300 each. For more information, call the Concern Foundation for Cancer Research at (213) 476-4677.
