Harbor Department

I object to the proposals by Picus to sell Los Angeles International Airport and Los Angeles Harbor. My understanding is that most businesses are interested in profits and not service to the public. I have a better idea; reduce the salaries of all elected and appointed officials (including City Council members) by 10% and reduce all perks and fringe benefits by 50%. That should help reduce the deficit considerably. What next? Sell the Police and Fire departments?
