Violence in Los Angeles County resulted in four apparently unrelated homicides, officials said Saturday.

Kevin Wheel, 19, of Lakewood was shot in the head and back while driving in the 22000 block of Norwalk Boulevard in Hawaiian Gardens about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Sheriff’s Deputy Mary Landreth said. Wheel died at Long Beach Community Hospital.
