U.S. Team Defeats Mexico in Tennis
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
A team of U.S. tennis players won 36 matches to 17 for the International Lawn Tennis Club of Mexico during the 10th Copa Amigos tournament, a three-day event that ended Saturday at the Lindborg Racquet Club.
Larry Belinsky of San Diego won five matches for the U.S. team; Hector Ortiz, who played on the Mexican Davis Cup team in 1988, and Alfredo Riskohl each won four for the team from Mexico.
