Caltrans Issues Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Westbound No. 1 lane from the San Gabriel River Freeway (605) junction to Paramount Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday; marker repair.

2. Carson: Westbound No. 1 lane from Acacia Avenue to Vermont Avenue; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; marker repair.

3. Paramount: Westbound No. 3 lane at the Los Angeles River bridge; 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. today; bridge repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

4. Los Angeles: Southbound No. 1 lane from Figueroa Street to Rosecrans Avenue; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; glare screen repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

5. Long Beach: Connector road from the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710) to the westbound Artesia Freeway (91); 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

6. Long Beach: Southbound No. 3 and 4 lanes from Del Amo Boulevard to Wardlow Road, the connector road from the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) to the northbound and southbound San Diego Freeway (405), plus the Del Amo Boulevard on-ramp and Wardlow Road off-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

7. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from the Humphrey Avenue overcrossing to the Los Angeles River; 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

8. East Los Angeles: Westbound No. 1 and 2 lanes from Garfield Avenue to Mednik Avenue; 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; maintenance.

9. East Los Angeles: Westbound No. 5 lane from Findlay Avenue to Atlantic Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; maintenance.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

10. Carson: Northbound No. 5 lane at the Main Street off-ramp; 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; pruning.

11. Carson: Southbound on-ramp at Avalon Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; asphalt patching.

12. Long Beach: Northbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Pacific Avenue to Alameda Street, the connector from the northbound San Diego Freeway (405) to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710), plus the Pacific Avenue on-ramp, Santa Fe Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp, and Alameda Street off-ramp; 9 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

13. Long Beach: Southbound No. 4 lane from Santa Fe Avenue to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) junction, and the connector from the southbound San Diego Freeway (405) to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

14. Cerritos: Northbound on-ramp at South Street; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; slope repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

15. Commerce: Southbound on-ramp at Washington Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; sweeping.

16. La Mirada: Northbound No. 4 lane from Artesia Boulevard to Valley View Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; fence repair.

17. La Mirada: Northbound No. 4 lane from Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

18. Long Beach: Southbound No. 3 lane at the Commodore Schuyler F. Heim Drawbridge; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; bridge repair.
