3 Masked Gunmen Rob Calabasas Bank
Three armed men wearing ski masks held up a Calabasas bank Saturday, escaping with $80,000 to $100,000, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The men entered the Wells Fargo Bank in the 23800 block of Calabasas Road near Park Granada Boulevard at about 11:45 a.m., Sgt. Patricia Torres said.
The robbers threatened tellers with two handguns and a sawed-off shotgun, Torres said. They forced employees into the bank vault and then drove away in an old blue station wagon, she said. No shots were fired, and no one was injured.
No arrests have been made, Torres said. The FBI will investigate.
