I always enjoyed Tuesday evenings on NBC with “Matlock,” “In the Heat of the Night” and “Midnight Caller.” Then, the network decided to move “Midnight Caller” to Friday night. I didn’t know what day or time it was on, or if it had been canceled. Now I see it has been getting poor ratings. No wonder, and it’s an excellent show.
