One adult and two minors were arrested Wednesday night after they allegedly shot at a security guard at a trolley station in Southeast San Diego, police reported.

Keegan Ware, 18, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder and taken to County Jail downtown, where he was being held without bail, a jail spokeswoman said.

Ware and the minors, whose names were not released because of their age, where standing at the trolley station in the 300 block of 47th Street about 8:30 p.m., said police spokesman Bill Robinson.

A security guard at the station asked the three to leave. As they were leaving, one of them turned and fired a shot at the guard but missed him, Robinson said.

The three youths ran to an apartment building in the 200 block of 47th Street, Robinson said, and patrol officers surrounded the area and arrested the three. Police confiscated a handgun and shotgun from the youths, he said.

The minors were taken to Juvenile Hall, where they were being held on suspicion of attempted murder.
