13-Year-Old Boy Shot in Leg From Passing Car
A 13-year-old boy was shot in the leg Tuesday in a drive-by shooting here, police said.
The boy was hit in the left leg by a bullet from a .25-caliber automatic handgun as a car passed by om the 500 block of North Jackson Street about 4:45 p.m., police said. The attackers fired two rounds, hitting the boy once.
He was taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center. Information on his condition was not available.
His attackers apparently were involved in another drive-by shooting just minutes before the attack on Jackson Street, police said. No one was injured in that incident.
