200 Workers Evacuated in Electrical Blaze
An electrical fire forced the evacuation of about 200 employees from a Chatsworth frozen-foods factory Wednesday, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
No injuries were reported in the blaze, which began about 11:15 a.m. at Chef America in the 9600 block of Canoga Avenue near Superior Street, Battalion Chief Clark Cornwell said.
Chef America was the site of an electrical fire last July that fatally injured one man and seriously injured two others.
