Suspected drunk drivers and rowdy sunbathers can expect to star in their own videos over the long Memorial Day in San Diego County. Police and sheriff’s deputies will begin using video cameras to record the arrest of drunk motorists and intoxicated beach-goers. Members of the City Council have called for the use of video cameras to support a proposed reinstatement of a beach booze ban, suspended in April after a referendum drive. Drunks have become a serious problem on a busy boardwalk stretching from Pacific to Mission beaches, according to authorities.
