5 Improved Scholars Win Robinson Award
Five Pasadena High School students have been chosen to receive the Jackie Robinson Merit Award from Women in Action, a community service organization.
The awards of $750 each go to students who have improved below-average grade-point averages in the ninth and 10th grades to above average in the 11th and 12th grades.
The students are Dion Johnson, Richard Dor, Shahada Thornton, Kerry Mosley and Wilbur Jones.
