Big Trout Are Finally Found at Big Bear Lake
Remember those 200 trout from 7 to 14 pounds that were planted in Big Bear Lake for the May Trout Derby that nobody caught?
They’re catching them now.
The fish, identified by tags, are turning up all over the lake, from boats and along the shore. Scott Brummett of Whittier took one weighing 10 1/4 pounds, and several other catches of about that size were reported.
