Flooded Area in Nebraska Declared a Disaster Area

WASHINGTON —
President Bush has declared a major disaster in northwestern Nebraska because of severe damage from flooding last month, the federal Emergency Management Agency said. The designation makes communities in the area eligible for federal aid to help restore facilities.
