PHILADELPHIA —
A 17-month-old boy who lost his right arm when he was mauled by a wolf-dog left the hospital Wednesday after seven operations, including brain surgery, officials said.
Tyler Olson was carried out of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital by his parents, Howard and Michelle Olson of Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J.
It was the first time the boy had been outside since the April 19 attack. The crossbreed dog, which belonged to a neighbor, has been destroyed.
