Official at JPL to Lead Chamber
Peter Lyman, deputy laboratory director at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, has been elected president of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. He takes office July 1.
Lyman, 61, joined JPL in 1963. Before that, he was a lecturer in mechanical engineering at UC Berkeley.
He belongs to the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Astronautical Society.
