World IN BRIEF : INDIA : Sikhs Kill Former Assembly Speaker

Sikh separatists killed a former Speaker of the Punjab Parliament who was a leader in the Congress-I Party, police said. Amritsar city Police Chief Sanjiv Gupta said two Sikhs ambushed the car of Congress leader Brij Bhusan Mehra in Amritsar and shot and killed him.
