Kanatiyr Wins Jaipur at Belmont

ELMONT, N.Y. —
Kanantiyr, ridden by Jerry Bailey, raced widest in the stretch and held on for a 1 1/4-length victory over Senor Speedy on Wednesday to win the $91,050 Jaipur Stakes for 3-year-olds at Belmont Park.
Kanatiyr, shipped in from California, covered seven furlongs on the Widener Turf Course in 1:23 4/5 and returned $6.40, $6 and $3.40.
