Boy, 9, Accidentally Shoots, Kills Girl, 3

A boy shot and killed his 3-year-old neighbor Friday while four children were in the garage of a Hacienda Heights home.
Deputy Rafael Estrada of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau said Heather Hacket apparently was shot accidentally when a 9-year-old boy was playing with a shotgun he found in the garage. The girl died at the scene.
