*** Danielle Dax, “Blast the Human Flower,” Sire. Vocal chameleon Dax dramatizes nine scenes of modern life--mostly grim--with colorful modern techno-pop that falls somewhere between Kate Bush and Nina Hagen, with a version of the Beatles’ escapist “Tomorrow Never Knows” the only relief. Somehow, though, she manages to make it a pleasurable listening experience.
