Daytime Emmy for Procter & Gamble

Procter & Gamble Productions, a leading producer of soap operas since 1950, has been chosen to receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement for Daytime Television Emmy Award.

The award is meant to honor an individual, company or organization whose achievements extend beyond the scope of the usual Emmy categories. It will be presented at the Daytime Emmy Awards on June 27.

Procter & Gamble Productions, a division of the huge consumer goods manufacturer, has produced such daytime serials as “Guiding Light”, “Another World”, “As the World Turns”, “The Edge of Night” and “Search for Tomorrow”.
