SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Starting Times for Schools Changed
Four Capistrano Unified School District schools will have new starting times in September under a plan adopted by the Board of Trustees.
The changes were necessary to make more efficient use of the district’s buses, officials said.
Las Palmas Elementary School will begin classes at 7:55 a.m. instead of 8:25 a.m.; Moulton Elementary will begin classes at 7:55 a.m. instead of 8:25 a.m. George L. White Elementary will begin classes at 8:25 a.m. instead of 8:55 a.m.; and Niguel Hills Junior High sixth-graders will begin classes at 8:55 a.m. instead of 8:30 a.m.
