West Hollywood : Ribbons for AIDS Victims

Pink ribbons will flutter from 107 flagpoles along the Santa Monica Boulevard median strip in West Hollywood to honor the thousands of people who have died from AIDS and to pay tribute to those who continue to fight the disease.
West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman and other members of the City Council kicked off the ribbon hanging at a ceremony Wednesday.
