Judge and Gays

If Judge Larry Stirling had simply asked the bailiff to clean up because the person was sick, his behavior would have been reasonable. But he didn’t. He said he ordered the cleanup because the person was HIV infected, thereby implying the virus could be passed through casual contact.

Being Alive has 600 members who live with this virus every day. Judge Stirling’s ignorance not only hurts them but, ultimately all of society. Let’s hope all of us strive for more education and understanding about HIV/AIDS.
