Are the whale murals on one (ocean-facing) wall at the Southern California Edison Co. plant in Redondo Beach a cold, cynical, outrageously hyped maneuver to divert community attention from unsolved problems caused by Edison operations in this city?
Will Mobil in Torrance, Allied Signal and Hyperion in El Segundo consider using murals of seals, porpoises or underwater flowers?
