Finding the Positive Side of Wimbledon
In regard to this morning’s (June 28) Wimbledon article, I would have preferred a more positive tone for the Chang-Mayotte match.
Instead of a loser’s picture (Chang), show the winner with a big smile on his face.
Instead of saying, “Things weren’t looking up for No. 9-seeded Michael Chang,” say that “Things were smiling for Tim Mayotte.”
Instead of saying, “Chang wasted four match points in the fourth set,” say that “Mayotte gallantly withstood four match points in the fourth set.”
