A 65-year-old woman was struck and killed as she crossed the street in Balboa Park, police said.
Gladys McFadden of Sun City was walking west across Park Boulevard near the museums about 2 p.m. Sunday when she was struck by a passing car. She was taken to Mercy Hospital where she died a short time later.
The driver of the car was not arrested or cited.
