No Injuries in Brush Fire at Park
San Diego firefighters extinguished a small brush fire at Kate O. Sessions Memorial Park on Wednesday, authorities said.
Three trucks and 13 firefighters responded at 3:20 p.m. to the half-acre blaze at the park, at the intersection of Soledad Road and Loring Street, San Diego Fire Department spokesman Dan Goebel said.
The fire was put out in 20 minutes, there were no injuries and there was little damage, Goebel said. The cause of the fire was not known.
