OBITUARY : Paul E. Joyce, 63, Duarte Realtor and Civic Leader
Paul E. Joyce, 63, of Duarte has died of a heart attack. He was the owner of Prudential Paul Joyce Realty in Duarte and the husband of Duarte Mayor Ginny Joyce.
Paul Joyce, who lived in Duarte since 1969, died July 3. He was president of the Duarte Chamber of Commerce in 1978 and president of the Monrovia-Duarte Board of Realtors in 1980.
A memorial service has been held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Paul Joyce Memorial Scholarship in care of the Monrovia-Duarte Board of Realtors, 114 W. Colorado Blvd., Monrovia.
In addition to his wife, Joyce is survived by a daughter, Donna Lee Wright of Pasadena, a son, Lamont Wright of Duarte, a grandson and two brothers.
